‘Quod verum tutum’
“What is true is right!”
The Rest of the Story!
This is the rest of the story about how the motto “Verum Tantum” was created…
About 1969, in a North High School English class, I was studying how Latin phrases have become common mottos in the English language… Continue reading Quod Verum Tutum
My Personal Motto is:

It is father’s day, I receive 5 wonderful hand made cards from my family and I also received this email.
What Is A Papa?
A Papa is someone who
wants to catch you before you fall
but instead picks you up,
brushes you off,
and lets you try again.

I was thinking about my brother Jesse this morning, he went to heaven to be with the Lord about a month ago. My friend Francel sent me this story and I just felt maybe I should pass it on to you. I love you… I pray you enough! ~Lan
I Pray You Enough!
Recently, I overheard a Father and daughter in their last moments together at the airport. The public address system had announced the departure.
Standing near the security gate, they hugged and the Father said, “I love you, and I pray you enough.”
The daughter replied, “Dad ~ our life together has all been God’s blessings and more than enough. Your love is all I ever needed. I pray you enough, too. And, Dad, when you go, please don’t look back. We hug, we kiss, and we go. I do not want to see you leave.”

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Matthew 5:9
Pastor Chito M. Morales Sr. passed from life unto life this morning, to be with our Lord Yeshua the Messiah (Jesus the Christ). Brother Chito, as I called him, is my good friend. I say is because although he is gone from this life, I am sure he is alive with the Lord. Like a good friend who moved away to a distant land, I am sure I will meet and fellowship with him again. What’s the “F”? It is Happy “F” Day!
“F” in the Hexadecimal Numbering system is how you say 15 in decimal. However, in the language of computers, binary, hexadecimal “F” would be represented as “1111″!
Since New Years this year looks like 1111, for example 1/1/11 or 11/1/1, you might just shorten it to “F” and say Happy “F” Day! Or What the “F”?
The only problem is Continue reading Happy “F” Day! What the “F”?
Birthdays are usually a sweet time! In youth we look forward to them, not only for the presents, but also for the “status” of being a year older.
As we age, we would like that status to reverse… but too late. Sometimes, things go wrong, really wrong, and birthdays can become sad reminders of that wrong. I was born with Celiac Disease and untreated it made many things in my life go wrong. My son is 36 today, I wish I could wish him a Happy Birthday! He was born on my uncle Bob’s birthday. I wish I spent more time with him before he died. Happy Birthday you two! Continue reading Happy Birthday Son, and Uncle!
These are personal reflections on some things I have learned in life. Or perhaps It would be better to say things that I am learning…
Some are truths I have collected from others, some are personal thoughts I have had myself. Nonetheless, I print them here in the hopes they will also help you.
I’ve learned that it’s a lot easier to react than it is to think.
I’ve learned that I can do something in an instant that will give me a heartache for life. Continue reading Some Things I Have Learned In Life!
